Reading assigned in course:

• Instructor: Tim Hsu.
• Required text: Calculus: Early Transcendentals, James Stewart, 8th edition (black cover with a dark/black violin). Programmable graphing calculator also required; TI-82/83/85/86 preferred. (TI-89/92 not allowed on exams.)
• Homework: Due every day, except on exam days.
• Quizzes: One each week, except in exam weeks.
• Exams: Three 75-minute in-class exams plus 2 hour, 15 min final exam (Wed Dec 12, 7:15-9:30am).
• Grading: Final course grades consist of:
