• Required text: The Heart of Mathematics: An invitation to effective thinking, Burger and Starbird. "Manipulative kit" (toys) also required.
• Homework: Due every day, except on exam days. For details, see the handout on homework in Math 10.
• Quizzes: One each week, except in exam weeks.
• Exams: Three in-class 50-minute exams plus 2 hour, 15 min final exam (Wed May 26, 12:15pm--2:30pm).
• Grading: Final course grades consist of:
